Today, I made Rainbow Cupcakes to cheer up my sick little boy!

They were super easy to make but used up a ton of dishes.

Final Verdict: Cool Whip "Cloud" is a MUST, Yummo!

In other news: I'd like to wish my wonderful grandparents, a Happy 49th Anniversary!

Today, We celebrated my Grandparent's 49th wedding anniversary with dinner & dessert over my parents house.

My son was so excited for the dessert, all he would say is

"Where's the cake?" "Where's the cookies?" "Where's the ice cream?" :)

Well HELLO February, I knew you had not truly left us! Friday, The weather was a beautiful 70 degrees & Monday evening it's below freezing & were expecting ice & 4-6inches of snow. Thank you Mother nature! Saturday, I had my 1st engagement session setup at Quiet Waters Park...excited is an understatment BUT of course MD had 50-60mph winds, so we had to reschedule, Total Bummer.

In other news, I'd like to wish my wonderful sister a BIG....

Tomorrow, My little sister, Megan turns 21! Seriously where has the time gone, I feel like it was just yesterday that she insisted on wearing her pink power ranger costume to my 5th graduation lunch, TOTALLY embarrassing for this new graduate :) So the family went to a nice steak restuarant for an early birthday dinner. Dinner was so good, & the dessert was to die for...Wish I would of gotten a picture but it was gone that quick! Happy Early Birthday Sis!

Sunday we headed to Downs Park for a fun day of playing & even some Valentine pictures! Little Miss.S has become such a little lady & was an absolute joy to take pictures of! I had such a fun time & can't wait for more warmer days of photography at the park!

The 1st sunny day of February w/ a high of 50 degrees was this past Sunday! So off to Downs Park we went for a afternoon of playing at the park & I was hard at work on my last Valentine Mini Session of 2011! It was a beautiful day & the mini session was a total success! Miss.S took some great pictures, New Valentine blog to come!

We recently inherited a big ol' fish tank that now has become a wonderful decoration in the new playroom..Thanks Shean! So Saturday we ventured to Petsmart to get some new fishes for the boys! The boys LOVE them & want to feed them at every meal, even saying Hi & Bye every time they enter & leave the playroom. So cute!

Sunday, I met a wonderful friend & her beautiful daughter, Miss.J at Lilly Magilly's in Gaithersburg. We walked around by the lake & fed the ducks lollipops :), warmed up in Starbucks & enjoyed cupcakes at Lilly Magilly's. The photo session was a total success & Miss.J was the perfect little model!

On Sunday, I visited Lilly Magilly's Cupcakery & came home with that beauty & a few others. I am in LOVE with Red Velvet anything..cupcakes, cookies, cakes..you name it! If I ever get married I will most definitely have a big ol' red velvet wedding cake. I have never had a boutique cupcake & this cupcake far exceeded my expectations.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting a great friend & her beautiful daughter in Gaithersburg, MD for a Valentine photo session. We visited this really great lake behind the cupcake boutique. The lake was half frozen full of ducks, seagulls & geese. I really wish I lived closer, I would totally take my son here all the time!
